We are looking for dedicated and compassionate carers who will work with our clients in Arberdeen and surrounding areas. As part of our team, you will offer a range of services that enable our clients to live independently in the comfort of their homes. You will provide personal care and hygiene, dressing, mobility needs, meal preparation, medication assistance, social support, and companionship. You will be fully supported, providing training and shadowing experience until you are comfortable with your placement.

Carer
Duties:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals in need, including children and adults
- Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Implement care plans and follow medical instructions provided by nurses
- Monitor and document vital signs, such as blood pressure and heart rate
- Support individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities in their daily activities
- Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and prevent challenging behaviors
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Administer first aid when necessary and ensure the safety of individuals under your care
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a carer or in a related field is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects or individuals, as required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Ability to follow care plans and provide support based on individual needs.
Please note that this position may require working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
