Job description

Positions Available

• We have a day carer position which is for 5 shifts per week i.e. 35 hours. Our shift times are 7.00am to 2.00pm, and 2.00pm to 9.00pm.
• We have a night carer position which is for 2 shifts per week i.e. 20 hours or 3 shifts per week i.e. 30 hours. Our shifts times are 9.00pm to 7.00am.
• We also have a bank position available (days and/or nights) for anyone who is looking to pick up additional hours without being tied into a weekly contract.

• We’re Woodlands Gate Rest Home, a family owned residential care home in Pedmore, Stourbridge, and we provide a range of care and support services for our older residents, some of whom have dementia.
• We’ve got a lovely homely atmosphere, and we’re rated ‘Good’ by CQC. We have great facilities and a wonderful, caring team of staff.

What We’re Looking For

• We’re seeking to recruit a great carer; someone with the right values and an attitude that matches our own! (A sense of humour definitely helps!)
• Ideally we’re looking for someone with care home / community care experience and health and social care qualifications.
