As a temporary support worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of individuals and helping them attain their objectives.
Job Specifications
- Adhere to all organisational policies, procedures, and regulations governing the provision of care and support services.
- Assisting clients with various tasks and providing them with the necessary support.
- Administer medications as prescribed and assist clients with their health care needs.
- Assist clients in achieving their goals and aspirations, providing practical support and assistance
- with daily tasks.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, nurses, and administrative staff to facilitate seamless coordination and effective communication.
- Engage in meaningful activities with clients to promote socialization, mental stimulation, and emotional well-being.
- Help clients with the logistics of attending appointments, providing transportation, and ensuring clients arrive on time.
- Monitor and report any change in the client’s physical or mental health to appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support to clients and their families.
Candidate requirements
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in using office software applications, electronic medical records systems, and other relevant software tools may be required.
- Completion of at least a level 2 NVQ diploma in health and social care or equivalent experience.
- Enhanced DBS
- Experience working in a similar role, preferably with vulnerable adults.
- Excellent communication skills, along with being organized, and can showcase excellent patient care.
- The ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
