£10.90 - £11.04 per hour
38.5 hours per week

With a dedicated Learning & Development Team, we will provide all the training you need, such as All Wales Induction Framework to ensure that you succeed and excel in this role!
We provide the training - we can teach you how to do the role. The only thing we can’t teach is how to be a naturally caring person.
So, if you check on your elderly neighbour, do the weekly shop for your family, help raise he family, offer to help on school trips, you have what we can’t teach and we want you to join our team.
What we need from you:
- Communication skills – this is a very sociable job. You will be working closely with other care assistants, nurses, domestic and kitchen assistants, so it’s important that you can communicate well, ask questions, work well with others and share ideas. Lots of our residents enjoy to chat, we are looking for care assistants who can hold meaningful discussions with them; some residents love to reminisce, chat about their families and lives, so being a good listener is also key.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care – you will need to hold this qualification or be willing (and eager) to work towards it, with support from our dedicated learning and development team.
- Time management skills – this can be a very busy and demanding role, so you will need to manage your own time, work well as part of a team, use your own initiative to work alone and be able to prioritize your workload.
