Home Instead Taunton are a family owned, award winning, CQC OUTSTANDING rated Home Care provider who support clients to live independently within their own homes. We provide high quality, personalised and unhurried companionship, and care. We work in a way that enables and empowers our clients, promoting choice and independence. Importantly, we make time for this to happen, as our visits are always a minimum of 1 hour.

As a Care Professional you will provide companionship and care to our clients in their own home, you don’t need previous experience and will be supported by our dedicated office team. We value a warm heart and caring nature above previous experience, providing full training and support to help you reach your full potential.
We’re all about building lasting relationships, so we match Care Professionals and clients based on their personalities and interests. Helping you find instant rapport with clients you are caring for.
We offer set working hours and we will develop a schedule that you are happy with, to fit in with your available time and commitments. The role is based at the location of your client‘s home and essentially involves travelling to and from their address or place of residence. Currently, we cover Taunton, Wellington and surrounding villages so you will need access to reliable transport.
Award winning training provided, pay rates from £12.00 - £25.40 per hour. You will have paid introduction to your clients including shadow visits, employee benefits portal, ongoing well-being support from a friendly and dedicated office team and opportunities for career progression.
Qualifications needed.
- A willing, positive, compassionate approach to assist and support people within your local community.
- Access to reliable transport such as car, moped or E-Bike
- Be able to make a commitment of a minimum of 10 hours per week
- Be living in or around the Taunton and Wellington area

Care Professionals generally work up to 16 hours per week, however some Care Professionals work up to 30 hours per week depending on their availability. The average you would travel is 7 miles a day. We also have some guaranteed hours contracts available so please ask us about these. Our staff need to be available to work some hours every other weekend to suit the needs of our elderly clients and ensure that we all have a good work-life balance.
