Home Instead Huntingdon is owned by Cheryn Rook who has worked with elderly and disabled people for over 20 years. We cover St Neots, Huntingdon, Kimbolton, Sawtry, Somersham and the surrounding smaller villages and we are looking for compassionate homecare workers with morning availability that want to make a difference in our community.
Afternoon / Evening Staff required in and around Huntingdon
This position can fit very nicely around any existing commitments you may have. Perhaps you are a retiree that has no desire to retire? Maybe you’re a mother with children about to fly the nest into adulthood? No matter what stage of life you are in, if you care, we want to hear from you!
You are required to be a driver to apply for this position, over 18 and live in the Huntingdon area.
- Afternoons / Evenings (17:00 – 22:00) on weekdays of your choice plus alternate weekends
- Excellent pay rates – from £10.80 - £11.50 plus and enhanced rate of £21.60 for working bank holidays
- Clients local to you
- Minimum 1 hour calls – so you have the time needed with client
- Mileage allowance

Responsibilities:
Here’s what you could be doing:
- Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
- Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework
- Accompanying to appointments or shopping
- Supporting clients to complete their morning and evening routines
