Angelcare Residential Living, ‘Calderdale’s only fully private care home’ is recruiting for Senior Carers
Senior Carers are an integral role within the care home as they act between Care Staff and the Deputy & Registered Manager.
Senior Carers will need to have;
· Similar experience being a Senior Carer or Team Leader in another organisation either on a permanent or casual basis.
· Minimum Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care.
· Level 2 qualification in ‘Safer Handling of Medication’.
Senior Carers will be responsible for;
· Organising / Running of the shift.
· Handling & Administering medication, including ordering and stock management of medication.
· The medical wellbeing of our residents, knowing who and when to call, District Nurses, GP’s and other health professionals.
The Shift pattern;
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Day Shifts are 0745 – 2000
Night Shifts are 1945 – 0800
We pay for the full shift including all breaks!
The shift pattern is Two weeks of days and Two Weeks of night shifts.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £11.50 per hour
