Job description
Assisting and enabling service users to dress, undress, wash, use the toilet and bathe.
Preparing meals to service users at table or in bed, and assists with feeding if required.
Assisting service users with overall comfort and well being.
Providing interest and activities to stimulate and engage the service user.
Support with daily activities such as letter writing, paying bills, collecting benefits.
Undertaking light cleaning and domestic duties including meal preparation as required;
Monitoring service users conditions by taking temperature, pulse, respiration and weight, and contributes to record keeping.
Liaises with professional staff in carrying out care and support plans.
Accompany and support service users with their meetings, health, and wellbeing. Support and monitor their healthcare needs, including administering medication and temperature checks. Work with colleagues, health and social care professionals and external agencies. Support the service users emotionally by engaging in conversations and actively listening to their problems or concerns. Analyse the young persons needs and draw up a focused support plan. Write regular reports on activities in the placement. Therefore, the right candidate should have a good command of spoken and written English. Have good administrative and organisational skills. Be willing to attend relevant trainings as and when necessary.

Salary: £20,480.00-£21,000.00 per year
