Job description
We're looking for an experienced Care Worker to support the needs of our community and our clients. We're seeking a professional who enjoys working with people, is able to commit to regular hours, and has experience working in the healthcare industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our clients with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, hygiene maintenance and transportation. This is a challenging job, but it allows you to work in a fast-paced environment where you are able to directly affect the quality of people's lives.
Responsibilities:
- Help individuals participate in daily activities in their homes or community settings.
- Provide treatment and care to individuals who have mental health problems, physical disabilities, or substance use disorders.
- Help people change their behaviour.
- Provide services in private homes, hospitals, and aged care facilities.
- Work with the rehabilitation team in a hospital setting.
- Build lasting relationships with clients and their families.
- Communicate directly with medical staff about patients' conditions and concerns.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months
Salary: £13.50-£25.00 per hour
