To support individuals that you are paid to support.
· To encourage and support the lives individual’s wish to lead, make decisions, have as many choices about their lives as possible and be supported to take appropriate risks.
· It is your role to make each day as best possible. Your role is to maintain individuals existing skills and encourage them to develop new ones.
· You must support and encourage access to facilities in the local community.
· You are also expected to help look after their home, support with cooking, shopping, keeping it clean, tidy and safe.
· You may also be required to remind individuals to take medication.
· You will be expected to treat individuals that you are paid to support, with dignity and respect at all times.
· You are also required to be aware of, and follow procedures for, reporting any safeguarding concerns or incidents.
· Keep accurate records (where required), complete training, attend team meetings and supervision (when required).
· You are also obligated to ensure the health, safety and welfare of those you support and your other team members.
· You are expected to work as part of a team and to support others in doing their jobs.
· You may be asked to work with other team members as required including attending meetings.
· It may be necessary to transport individuals to appointments, shopping and accompany on social outings, if you are qualified and insured to do so and upon request.
· You will be required to perform all duties in accordance with the Rose NI Ltd policies and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £11.00-£12.00 per hour
