Job description
We are looking for enthusiastic, caring Home and Community Care & Support Workers to provide support to the older adults living in their own homes within Aberdeen city and Shire area. With your support we can reduce social isolation while supporting older people to access activities in the local community. We help our clients to live full and healthy lives in their own home near to their loved ones.
This is an excellent opportunity to engage closely with those you will care for and to develop your own skills and experience, working closely with the district nursing team and other health professionals. Working in our integrated care team will allow you to launch your career and build on your skills.
Relevant experience of working in a care environment is required to apply for this role. We are seeking individuals with a duty of care who are able to positively contribute to the lives and experiences of the residents we support and who work well as part of a wider support team.
Visits to resident’s homes are all within Aberdeen. You will be paid for all worked hours and for mileage/travel expenses between homes
The ability to drive is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 - 30 per week
Salary: £11.00-£12.00 per hour
