Daybreak is a charity providing critical care for people living with dementia.
We have 3 day centres with fun activities including music, crafts, dancing, games, and social time for people living with dementia throughout Oxford.

We are looking for a personable, service-orientated Care Worker with experience in providing care to older adults. The ideal candidate will be capable of providing individualised and holistic care while also prioritising the safety of the clients, and will work well in a team environment. Our day centre provides assistance to elderly individuals and clients with physical disabilities, and we are interested in hiring an individual with interpersonal skills and the ability to support clients living with dementia.
Responsibilities:
- Greet residents warmly
- Support running games, crafts, and singing
- Recognise when clients are upset and know how to defuse these situations.
- Assist members with eating
- Work in a team setting.
