Job Family: CBG 7 - Supporting
Salary: £24,496 - £26,845 per annum pro rata

Hourly Rate: £13.92 - £32.43 dependent on the shift worked
Hours: Full time 37 per week

Location: Ferndale Residential Home, Flitwick

Contract Type: Fixed - Permanent
Closing Date: Rolling until March 2023

About the role

To provide Person centred care to each of our residents that is as individual as they are. Are you able to wear your heart on your sleeve. Can you change a moment and make a difference and can you help to transform lives. If so we would love you to Join our Family at Ferndale in Flitwick.

This is an important role – and you’ll receive our full support including a full training programme and induction. Your main priority is to ensure our resident's happiness and wellbeing. Every resident is different and you must respect their individuality. It’s all about creating a friendly, supportive environment – one where people are independent and free to make their own choices.


We are interested in people who caring comes naturally to and put the needs of our residents first. It’s important you can work as part of a team and keep accurate records. Above all, you must be people-focused and enjoy working with our residents.


To apply for this role you will need to hold a level 2 NVQ / QCF in health and social care or equivalent and be prepared to work towards a level 3 qualification. You will be able to demonstrate a level of experience in the care and support of older people living with difficulties, such as physical disability / frailty and Dementia. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to manage others in the work environment. Such as the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively to achieve the desired outcomes of the people in your care. You will become part of a wider team of people, all working towards the same goal – to provide an excellent service to the people in our care.
