We focus on delivering care as close to home as possible.Our aim is to improve the health and wellbeing of all our patients and families.We work in partnership with a range of other organisations in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Wiltshire, Swindon, and Bath.These include:The University of Oxford to promote innovation in healthcare, support research and to train doctors and psychologists.Oxford Brookes University and the University of Bedfordshire to train nurses and allied health professionals.Local authorities and voluntary organisationsGPs across all the locations we serve to provide joined-up care.Locations covered: Henley on Thames Band 3Day Rate - £11.45 per hourNight/Sat Rate -£16.49 per hourSun/Bank Holiday Rate -20.95 per hourWhat you’ll be responsible for –· Recognising the individuality of the patient and help to meet his or her social, emotional, and intellectual needs.· Will be involved in the delivery and coordination of ward activities.· Ensuring that basic physical needs are met, such as adequate diet, hygiene, warmth, comfort, and safety.· Assisting in planned treatments in accordance with multi-disciplinary team approachYou’ll have the following qualification/experience:· A minimum of 6 months experience if one of the below qualifications is obtained, if not a minimum of 12 months previous care support work is required. Experience must be within an NHS or private hospital setting.· Undertake regular mandatory training.· Some roles will need a valid PMVA/MAPA training. Training will be given if not completed previously.In addition to experience, all Care support worker roles will be required to provide evidence of completing the Care Certificate or a relevant qualification. Evidence accepted includes:Student Nurse with at least 12 weeks’ clinical placements.Care Certificate from an NHS OrganisationQCF Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services – issued after 2011.QCF Level 2 OR above Diploma in Health & Social Care or Clinical Healthcare Support – issued after 2011.QCF Level 3 OR above Diploma in Healthcare Support or Maternity & Paediatric Support – issued after 2011 (For Paediatric & Maternity roles only)Degree /Diploma in Nursing and currently do not have an NMC Registration.We are all NHS Professionals... could you be?We are NHS Professionals (NHSP), working together to care for patients in the NHS.
