Care Support Worker – Mental Health

Nestled in the Garden of England with easy access to London, KMPT operates across 33 locations, where a mix of rural, coastal and urban housing is available within Kent

Locations covered: Priority House, Littlebrook Hospital & St Martins

Band 2 or Band 3

Day Rate - £ 10.42 per hour

Night/Sat Rate - £14.69 per hour

Sun/Bank Holiday Rate - £19.07 per hour

What you’ll be responsible for

· Recognising the individuality of the patient and help to meet his or her social, emotional, and intellectual needs

· Will be involved in the delivery and coordination of ward activities

· Ensuring that basic physical needs are met, such as adequate diet, hygiene, warmth, comfort, and safety

· Assisting in planned treatments in accordance with multi-disciplinary team approach

You’ll have the following qualification/experience:

· An NVQ Level 2 or above in Health & Social Care Qualification or Care Certificate Qualification that has been obtained within the NHS

· A minimum of 6 months experience if one of the above qualifications is obtain, if not a minimum of 12 months is required. Experience must be within an NHS Hospital.

· Undertake regular mandatory training

· Some roles will need a valid PMVA/MAPA training
