The Role
We are currently recruiting Care Support Workers for Broomhill Care Centre and Broomhouse Nursing Home and are looking for compassionate, enthusiastic, well-motivated individuals with the passion and desire to offer the best possible quality of care and support to the users of our care services.
Whether you are new to care or have previous experience, your values are much more important to us. We provide a fantastic training and induction programme that will support you in your role and we also offer ongoing supervision and mentorship, so that you are further supported once you have
completed your induction period.
Within this role you will help the people we support to develop their optimum level of independence, as well as supporting nursing staff in undertaking their roles, providing personal care, and supporting individuals to participate in hobbies, social activities, outings and occasional holidays. The role is varied there will be ample opportunities provided for you to gain the qualifications and experience you will need to develop your career.
SPECIFICATION – ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

- Sensitive to the needs of others and to the sick and infirm.
- An active team player but able to work on own initiative.
- A good communicator.
- An NVQ level 2 qualification/Care Certificate, or willingness to successfully complete this upon taking up employment with the company.
Full and Part-time hours: 24-40 per week – Personal Protective Equipment will be provided and worn in accordance with national guidelines.

· Overtime payments for hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week, or with less than 48 hours’ notice (an additional 25% Monday to Friday and an additional 50% on Saturdays and Sundays).
