Pay Rates: £11.45- £20.95

We provide a range of health and wellbeing services to the people of Bolton, delivering care at Royal Bolton Hospital, in a range of community venues and in people’s own homes. We are one of the North West’s busiest acute NHS foundation trusts, serving people across Bolton and other parts of Greater Manchester and are classed as amongst the best in the region for several of our services. The Royal Bolton Hospital is a major hub in Greater Manchester for women’s and children’s services and is the second busiest ambulance-receiving site in Greater Manchester.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Monitoring patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight.
  • Assisting in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse Ensuring that the patient is the prime focus when making decisions about their care and well being.
  • Assisting patients with compassion when undertaking normal activities of daily living whilst ensuring that privacy, dignity, and human right respected

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above

You’ll have the following qualification/experience:

  • Minimum of 6 months Acute HCSW UK (Private, NHS or Armed Forces) hospital/hospice experience within the last 2 years
  • A&E Experience Required
  • Currently studying General/Adult Nursing (Student Nurse) and completed a minimum of 12 weeks clinical placements.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bolton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Spinal Injury: 1 year (preferred)
  • Support Worker: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
