Providing administration support to our care home managers as necessary. This to include providing assistance with:
· Rota planning
· Co-ordinating maintenance tasks
· Ensuring daily data is uploaded
· Maintaining accurate HR records
· Ensuring staff training is up to date
· Planning external events
It will also include general administrative duties – filing, answering the phone, dealing with general enquiries and liaising with the rest of the corporate team as necessary and any other reasonable tasks as required which fall within the grade of the job. The job description will be reviewed regularly in the light of changing service requirements - any such changes will be discussed with the post holder.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be IT competent. You will need to be a driver with access to your own vehicle as some movement between homes is required.
You will have contact with our service users as well as staff on a regular basis and so you must be empathetic and able to deal confidently with a wide variety of people and situations.
Flexibility is essential and the ability to cope in a sometimes pressured environment working to deadlines. You must be able to use your own initiative, have excellent organisational skills and produce work that is accurate and of high quality.
You will be required to undergo an advanced DBS check as you will be working alongside vulnerable groups
