Job description
As a Care and Support Worker you will be supporting people in your local community. The type of care you deliver will vary from client to client but you will generally be supporting clients with all aspects of personal care, supporting and promoting mobility, meal preparation and administering medication. We also provide a number of domesticated and social inclusion visits.
We are currently looking for care staff who are available between the hours of 7am-3pm and/or 3pm-10.30pm within the Leicestershire, and Peterborough region.
Job Description
- Provide palliative care to customers.
- To assist customers who need help getting up and going to bed in the morning and evenings, including dressing and undressing, washing, bathing and going to the toilet.
- To help customers with their mobility and with any physical disabilities, including incontinence and use of personal aids and equipment.
- To assist with medication, if required.
- To make and change beds, light cleaning, emptying commodes and general tidying.
- To set tables and trays, prepare and serve light meals, clearing away and washing up.
- To encourage the independence of customers wherever possible.
- You will have a genuine caring attitude,
- Must be able to communicate effectively,
- You will be committed and passionate to deliver excellent domiciliary care,
- You thrive to help others and go out of your way to ensure the service user is satisfied with the level of care they have received,
- You will want to work for an organisation with a reputation for providing quality services and this will be demonstrated in the care you provide,
- Qualification in care required. All mandatory recognised training

Must be a driver with access to your own car, as the role requires you to support different clients within their homes.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 40 per week
