Job Description


We are looking for Care Professionals to work across the East Renfrewshire area within Glasgow.

You must have a big smile that will make each client’s face light up when they welcome you at the door.


As each day is varied, you’ll need to think on your feet…and it helps to be light on them too as clients often enjoy a dance following afternoon tea.


You’ll need to bring oodles of patience, and a sense of humour. We’re a social bunch at Home Instead who love getting together for regular training (and parties!) and we’ll always be there to support you no matter what.

To Join us in this role you MUST have experience as a walker in domiciliary care or have extensive care background.

Hours of work:

  • Shift patterns of set days - Full Time and Part Time

We'll give you:

  • £12 per hour + travel contribution.

We need you to:

  • Visit clients for the minimum of 1 hour
  • Be happy to use public transport or walk between clients homes
  • Assist with personal care, domestic help and companionship
  • Be able to communicate well with the clients and office team
  • Have experience within Care
  • Have the right to work in the UK
