About Greenacre Park:
Greenacre Park is a specialist care home currently being built in Leicester, Leicestershire. Construction of the new complex needs care home in Leicester, Leicestershire will begin in 2022 by contractor Deeley Construction. The new care home, located on Gipsy Lane, will open in Autumn 2023. When open, Greenacre Park will specialise in supporting adults living with acquired brain injuries, complex mental health needs, dementia and physical disabilities.
About the Role:
Your role will involve supporting people with all aspects of their day-to-day living, which may include taking up new hobbies, meeting friends, getting involved in social activities, going to the gym or looking their best!
A Care Assistant day-to-day duty will include:
- Providing personal care such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and on occasion, assisting with mealtimes
- Promote independence, dignity, respect and choice across service users
- Support social and recreational activities; both in and out the home individually, or as part of a group
- Maintain care records, recording observations, activities and assessments
- On occasion, welcome and train new members of your care team
