You will be a part of our multi-disciplinary and enthusiastic team to provide a variety of care for our veterans including holistic services, dementia care, general nursing and residential needs on one recently rebuilt state-of-the-art site in Salford, Greater Manchester.

About the role
We are seeking permanent care assistants to work on days or nights (at least 3 shifts per week) as well as a part of our bank team.
· Hours – 11 hours available (days 7:30 – 19:30 and nights 19:30 – 7:30); plus 1 hour unpaid break
· Assist residents in all aspects of their personal care and hygiene needs, providing attention when needed, whilst ensuring residents retain their dignity in comfort and with respect.
· Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals.
· To actively promote and encourage as much personnel independence and choice as possible in the activities of daily living undertaken by the residents within Broughton House.
· Under the guidance of the Clinical Lead and working collaboratively with the Wellbeing team, take responsibility for the physical, emotional wellbeing and social needs of our residents in line with their care plans using a person-centred approach.
· To assist residents who have limited mobility, or physical/learning difficulties, making best use of aids provided, to ensure that they can safely achieve their personal goals.
About you
· Previous experience working in health and/or social care; working in a care home environment is advantageous
· Competent IT skills and willing to learn new software.
· Verbal and written communication skills
