This role is UK based and the right to work in the UK will need to be established as part of the recruitment process.
Working in care, every day is different. At Home Instead we care for our elderly clients in their own homes or wherever they call home which is where they feel most comfortable. Your tasks may include helping someone with their morning and evening routines preparing them healthy and delicious meals through the day or keeping their own homes safe and tidy.
Above all, you will be there to provide that essential companionship service which is at the heart of everything that we do.
Our calls are a minimum of one hour which sets us aside from other providers giving our care professionals time to build up trust and rapport and creating a lasting friendship.

Due to the nature of the role you must have access to reliable transport as you may be required to assist a client to an appointment or to enable them to continue with a hobby or interest.

- Able to use your own initiative and genuinely care for your clients
- Caring and empathic nature
- Good working commitment being reliable is really important
- Ability to work alternate weekends both Saturday and Sunday and some evenings
- Must be a driver as our clients can live in remote areas and may need your support to get to appointments
You don't need to have prior experience to work for Home Instead, we are looking for people who have a natural talent fort caring for others who love to spend time with people and can easily put a smile on someone's face which will make a difference to their day.
