Here at Snowdon Care Home exciting opportunities have arisen for a Night Care Assistant to join our team based in Llanberis. We have both full time and part-time positions available.
Duties will include:
- General support of our residents in order to help individuals maintain or achieve independence.
- Participate in the planning of care programmes and preparation of care review discussions
- All aspects of physical care of residents, including where necessary, bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting etc.
- Involvement in and promotion of emotional care of the residents
- Involvement in the keyworker system
- Other duties that may be required to promote the comfort, well- being and self respect of each of the residents
- Reporting any incidents of ill treatment of a resident to the Manager
- Promoting privacy, dignity and independence of all residents within the home
- Attending training sessions and meetings that will assist with the development of care practices and your own career development.
Here at Snowdon Care Home we are looking for attitude not experience. We can train you for skills, but a positive attitude and work ethic you are born with.
Requirements for successful applicants will include:
- being required to undergo a DBS clearance and reference checks.
- you will need to have a caring nature and a positive personality.
- you must be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- you will ideally have an NVQ level 2 or will be prepared to work towards it.
There is also a genuine occupational requirement for the post holder to be physically able to push wheelchairs and operate hoist mechanisms.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24-36 per week
Salary: £10.60-£11.10 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift

- Llanberis LL55 4LF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
