Care Assistant
High Peak Residential and Nursing Home, Main Lane, Kenyon, Culcheth, Warrington
£10.84 per hour
Full and Part time hours available

Where you’ll work
Inside High Peak, the atmosphere is jovial and happy, with a team of staff who love working here. Many have been at the home for 10, 20 and even 30 years! The long-serving team are led by passionate manager Sharon, who has been at the helm for almost a decade. At High Peak, we have an enthusiastic and creative activities leader who is passionate about enriching our residents’ lives. Because some of the residents have high nursing needs, many of the activities are centred within the home. Whether celebrating the finals of Wimbledon with a cream tea afternoon or welcoming members of our local rotary club in Warrington along for music sessions, there is so much to do.

What skills do I need?
- Team work! A happy team, makes for happy residents and a happy home
- Experience is not essential, as we will support you with all the training and support you’ll need to do the job, what is important is that you are caring, enthusiastic and have energy to share
- Being able to communicate well is essential along with a flexible approach
- You’ll also be kind and have a real genuine like for older people and their needs, ensuring we treat everyone with the respect and dignity they deserve.
