Job Title: Care Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to individuals in their homes or residential facilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, prompting with personal care, support to access
work, education or training etc.
- Prompting with medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with food shopping meal preparation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate personnel
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is reguired
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
