Job description
We are currently looking for compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in West Sussex. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to our elderly residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Supporting residents with mobility and transfers
- Administering medication in accordance with care plans
- Assisting with meal times and ensuring residents are well-nourished
- Providing emotional and social support to residents
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of care provided
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in a care environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
- NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring and compassionate nature
- A commitment to delivering high-quality care
- The ability to work as part of a team
