We are looking to recruit some great new people with the right values. The Care Assistant's primary responsibility is to ensure the happiness and well-being of the residents. Our staff members play an active role in our residents' lives, and we are looking for someone with a passion for helping others. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities such as dressing and physical therapy as well as spending time with the residents. A positive attitude to the work in our care service is what we are looking for – could this be you?
Responsibilities:
- Provide care to the elderly.
- Be compassionate when assisting the elderly.
- Be able to communicate with the elderly.
- Helping with personal care like washing, using the toilet and dressing
- Prompting and administrating medication
- Getting to know your clients and their interests and needs
- Meal preparation
- General household tasks including shopping
- Monitor changes in a patient's condition and communicate with doctors and other healthcare providers as needed.
- Be able to work as part of a team with other healthcare providers.
This opportunity offers a lot of flexibility as to the working hours; you can work full-time, part-time or simply pick up extra work revolving around your other commitments.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.80-£11.50 per hour
