Job description
1st 4 Healthcare is a Domiciliary Care Agency supporting adults in their own homes.
We are looking for caring, compassionate and experienced care assistants with the right attitude and commitment to work alongside our passionate, dedicated team and make a positive difference in the lives of the people that use our service.
You would be expected to travel to the client’s home and assist them with daily tasks in and around Preston or Fylde.

Requirements - Interview process;
- While experience is preferred, all mandatory training can be provided for free.
- Please bring references to your first interview along with your DBS if you have it. All staff are subject to a DBS check free of charge, so don’t worry if you don’t have one or if yours has run out.
- If you reach the second interview, this will involve you shadowing a member of staff while they visit a client, giving you a feel of what your new job may entail.
- If you plan on using your car while working, please bring with you your driving licence and current MOT certificate. We’ll keep a copy secure in your staff file.

Main duties and responsibilities:
Our care assistants will be responsible for service users’ physical and emotional wellbeing, their social needs being met and providing help with tasks such as;
- Personal Care
- Medication Assistance
- Meal Preparation
- Household duties
- Petcare
- Healthcare Appointments
- Support and Encouragement
- Providing Companionship
In Return:
- Competitive hourly pay starts from £10.50 - to £16.50 per hour.
