Job Summary:
To work within a team of caring staff in identifying and endeavouring to meet the needs of each resident in a way that respects their dignity and promotes their independence.
Key skills:
Previous experience in an elderly care setting is desirable but not essential as full training is available. NVQ or Diploma in Health and Social Care qualifications are desirable but not essential as we will support appropriate applicants in obtaining relevant qualifications. Successful applicants who can demonstrate NVQ or Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care will attract the highest advertised rate of pay.
You will be fully supported by the Care Manager with an induction programme and appropriate training.
Appointment of successful applicants is subject to satisfactory references and clearance by the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Hours of work:
Various shifts are available 8am-2pm, 2pm-830pm, 830am-230pm - full or part time hours are available but if applying for full time you must be able to work early or late shifts. All applicants must be able to work on alternate weekends.

Experience:
- Care Assistant: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- NVQ Level 2 / Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care (preferred)
