Care Assistant
To provide care in accordance with current best practice, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager, and within the financial plans agreed from time to time. You are required to maintain care skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time to time be required to maintain that currency of practice.
Job Responsibilities: to undertake personal care duties as required to service users; to support service users in a way that maintains dignity and privacy; to participate in record keeping, through brief written recording on individual case files; to meet service users' needs; to assist service users in performance of practical tasks; to promote independence; to undertake core training and attend staff meetings as and when required; to comply with health and safety requirements
salary: NMW
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social care / working towards preferred, however full training will be provided.
Successful candidates will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS Application of which the expense will be met by the company, unless registered and hold a transferrable DBS disclosure.
