Job description
St Mary's Nursing Home in Manchester are currently seeking a care assistant for full time or part time hours on a permanent basis.
St Mary’s is a peaceful and welcoming purpose-built care home offering high standards of kind and considerate nursing and residential care.
St Mary’s provides quality nursing and residential care for those who need 24-hour personal support and for those with a condition that requires specialised nursing care, convalescence care for people recovering from surgery or illness, as well as kind and respectful palliative care.
Our dedicated staff are able to provide specialist care for people with Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s and those affected by stroke.
We are looking for exceptional individuals with the right attitude, skills and knowledge who share our passion to deliver the best quality care experience.

- NVQ Level 2 in care (desirable but not necessary)
- Be caring and compassionate
- A genuine interest in working with the relevant service user group
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Confident team player
- Previous experience in care (desirable but not necessary)
