Come and join our team as a Healthcare Assistant at our care home, Footherley Hall in Shenstone, Lichfield (WS14 0HG).

About you

We are looking for caring, compassionate individuals who are dedicated to helping others. For this role, you will have:

  • You must have a driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the location of our home
  • Current residency in the UK with valid right to work
  • Willingness to make a difference
  • Caring attitude
  • Desire to see elderly people treated with care and respect
  • Great communication skills
  • Be a team player
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care, or willingness to complete
  • Good computer skills
  • You’ll ideally have at least 6 months experience in a care setting

About the role

As a Healthcare Assistant you will look after our residents’ health, wellbeing and happiness. Your day-to-day tasks may include helping with residents’ social activities, serving in the dining room, tidying residents’ rooms, answering help bells and assisting with their dressing and personal care. Above all, you will be helping our residents feel comfortable and safe while they enjoy an exceptional quality of life in an atmosphere of respect, trust and joy.
