An opportunity has arisen for some hard-working individuals to join our friendly Care Assistant team.
Orchard House is a 31-bed Residential Care Home in Barton Seagrave, providing care for clients who are elderly, many with dementia. We are passionate about providing high-quality care in a home-from-home environment.
About you:
The ideal candidate will be caring and compassionate, ideally with previous experience working in a residential care home. You must:
- Be caring, empathetic and respectful
- Dedicated to delivering high quality care.
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of our residents
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Willing to complete NVQ Health & Social Care Level 2.

About the role:
As a care assistant, you will play an important role within our team, helping us deliver high standards of care to our residents. This is a varied role however the main duties will include:
- Supporting our residents with personal care and all aspects of daily life.
- Building professional relationships with residents, providing physical & emotional support and promoting quality of life.
- Delivering a warm and friendly service, in welcoming relatives and healthcare professionals to our home.
- Completing care records
- Completing training

Start Date
Immediate, subject to:
- Receipt of satisfactory references
- Receipt of evidence of completed training (if appropriate)
- Satisfactory DBS checks
- Completion of induction training
