Full Time Wingrave, England 21823 - 24000 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Is your career in care as rewarding as it could be Are you frustrated with unrealistic schedules that leave no time for the people you support

Why not join MacIntyre as a SUPPORT WORKER You will work with the same Children regularly and have the opportunity to build long term life changing relationships.

What is the difference between a Support Worker and a Care assistant.

Our Support Workers work with the children 24/7. We have the time and the staffing to do more than just the basics. We build a person centred support plan, not just to get them through the day but to support life enhancing changes that last.

It is some of these landmarks that can make the job so rewarding. Some recent examples that our team have highlighted.

Susan* used to be very nervous about swimming, the mere suggestion made her anxious. She swims every week now and love's it.

David* is proud that he is now confident to pay the bill when he goes shopping with his Support Worker at the supermarket.

Lucy* now cleans her own teeth, it might seem a little thing but it makes her morning routine less stressful for her.

Simon* has joined a local rugby club. A great way to burn off energy and he has made lots of new friends.

MacIntyre School offers an innovative curriculum individually tailored to provide each student with the best possible learning opportunities and outcomes. It is focused on developing communication, functional skills and independence in context. Learning takes place throughout the day whether at school, in the residential houses or out in the community, where we provide an exciting range of off-site learning activities. A lot of the fun happens on the move, so it helps if you are a driver. Don't worry you won't be racing between appointments. Your ability to drive unlocks the opportunities for them to do the things they really enjoy.

Working at our children's home near Aylesbury can be fun and rewarding. The children have autism or learning disabilities and loads to offer. Could you help them live lives that make sense to them They might help make your working life, make a lot more sense to you.

Why not start a rewarding new career in Social Care and gain a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare for FREE No experience necessary: we'll train you!

We have full and part-time roles available.
