Job description
We are looking for experienced CareGivers to support a young adult female in the Brighton/Hove area. When considering ability, professionalism and commitment to the CareGiver role, we would never differentiate between male or female caregivers. However, on this occasion, due to client preference based on religious grounds, we are only interviewing female caregivers for this specific role.
This client has a permanent live-in carer who will take care of the majority of the care needs. However, they are looking for an additional caregiver to support the live-in carer with breaks and provide complementary support during the daytime. There may occasionally be a requirement to support the client to attend appointments and meetings, therefore, a full, clean UK driving licence is absolutely essential. The care requirement is 09:00 – 17:30, Monday to Sunday, with appropriate breaks during the day. These hours cannot be split, so all applicants must be fully available during these times.
We are initially looking for two CareGivers who can jointly cover these hours in their entirety, although the days can be split depending on the availability of the applicants. For example, one caregiver for 3 days and another caregiver for 4 days:
OPTION 1:
- One fixed contract for 25 hours per week (Salaried: £16,250 pa)
- One fixed contract for 35 hours per week (Salaried: £22,750 pa)
OPTION 2:
- Two fixed contracts for 30 hours per week (Salaried: £19,500 pa)
OPTION 3:
- Zero hours contract to offer flexibility to CareGiver; daily hours remain 09:00 - 17:30
Outside of this specific role, Kingsway Care are continually looking for excellent CareGivers to join our team. If the specifics of this role do not suit your availability, but you would like to be considered for a CareGiver or Senior CareGiver role, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kingsway Care is committed to finding exceptional CareGivers and rewarding them for delivering care with compassion and imagination. We also encourage those who have stepped outside of the care sector for some time and are looking to return.
