An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Care Assistant to work in an exceptional care home based in the Winchester, Hampshire. You will be working for one of UK’s leading healthcare providers
This care home offers specialist nursing and dementia care, respite care and end of life care so residents can stay in familiar surroundings, with a care team they know as needs change
**You must have an NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care**
As a Care Assistant your key duties include:
- Acting as a key worker to some residents, and ensuring care plans are up to date and accurate
- Providing personal care to the residents, ensuring dignity and respect are maintained at all times
- Supporting new members of the team and providing constructive feedback
- Encouraging independence as much as possible
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
- Previous experience of working in a care environment
- Previous experience of working with older people
- A shared understanding and the ability to demonstrate our four key values
- A caring, compassionate personality
- Reliability and punctuality
The successful Care Assistant will receive an excellent salary up to £10.85 per hour and the annual salary up to £20,311.20 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role for 36 hours a week working through Nights only. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
