We are looking for unique individuals who are on the look for a more meaningful way to connect with their community! We have an exciting opportunity for a new Community First Responder to join our Home Instead Family in Central Nottingham/ West Bridgford.
This Community First Responder role pays up to £15 per hour with an additional 45p paid travel from the minute you leave home!
A typical day as a Community First Responder:
· You MUST have a big smile that will make each client’s face light up when they welcome you at the door.
· A good pair of eyes and ears are essential. Ears to listen to a lifetime’s worth of stories, and eyes to help find things that they’ve misplaced!
· Each day is varied, you’ll need to think on your feet.. and it helps to be light on them too as clients often enjoy a dance following afternoon tea.
· A GCSE in history is not required, but helping a client relive their memories by flicking through a photo album together will be sure to make their day.
· Finding joy in the little moments in life. A cuppa made “just right”

New to Care? Don’t worry..
We offer a mentor/ buddy system for the first 12 weeks, continued 24/7 support from our office with our open door policy to come in and have a hot drink and also regular refresher opportunities and team activities.

Being a Community First Responder with us:
- Highest pay rates in care £13-£15 an hour
- Door to door milage paid at 45p per mile
- Guaranteed Pay Contracts - consistent pay for an agreed amount of hours every month
- Minimum 1-hour calls with your own regular matched clients
- Blocked work in the same location

- Mileage paid at £0.45 pence per mile from the minute you leave home
