Glenfield Woodlands strives to deliver the highest standards of care within our home. We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant with previous care experience, to join our care team. The company currently owns and operates 16 care homes across England and Wales.

Glenfield Woodlands is a 17 bedded Care Home in Glenfield, Leicester. Glenfield Woodlands specializes in elderly and dementia care.
Job Role - Care Assistant
Hours - Full Time: 36 hours
Shifts - 8am-2pm, 2pm-8pm, 8pm-8am
Care Assistant Duties include and are not limited to;
To Supervise and participate in the delivery of care to all residents.
To follow a person centered approach for every resident.
To work well as a team with other care staff.
To be open to ongoing training, and to follow your own personalized professional development plan.
Liaise directly with families, friends, GP's, District Nurses and other working professionals and agencies.
To work and promote good practices to all staff.
To work in conjunction with CQC's Key Lines of Enquiry framework. Promoting a Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well Led service.
Full commitment to the home, being punctual, flexible, honest and caring are paramount for the eligibility of this job vacancy.
Requirements:
Previous experience within a nursing/residential home as a Care Assistant is essential
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (preferred)
Active, on line DBS (Desirable), otherwise initial cost to be met by applicant which will be reimbursed after 6 months employment.
