We are part of a well-established panel company of over 16 years and we now have an exciting opportunity within the Somerset and Dorset areas. Finest Care is a Healthcare Agency providing highly trained and kind-hearted Healthcare Assistants and Nurses to Care and Residential Homes.
We are looking for motivated individuals to become part of the Finest Care team and help us to provide compassion to all. Finest Care is currently based in a wide range of locations including those in Shepton Mallet, Yeovil, Blandford Forum, Wells, Langport, IIminister, Glastonbury, Shaftesbury, Wincanton, Newton, Sherborne ,Poole,Weymouth,Plymouth,Brighton,Croydon,Guildford and more Areas.
We are happy to assist with gaining relevant Training and Required documentation such as DBS to enable you to extend or start your career in the caring sector. Main Duties may include;
- To enable and assist service users to maintain as much autonomy and independence as possible.
- To assist service users with personal care needs and requirements.
- To assist service users with mobility problems and other physical disabilities.
- Serving food and assisting service users to take diet and fluids.
- Empathy and sensitivity to service users' needs and concerns.
- To maintain records of daily activities.
- To assist with all domestic tasks within the care home.
- Good health and fitness.
- Willingness to be flexible.
Key Skills are to include;
- Good observational skills.
- Team working skills.
- Organization skills.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to adapt well in a busy environment
- Apt time management
What we require of you
- 2 satisfactory references.
- Be eligible to work in the UK.
