Where you’ll work: You will become part of the committed team at Ty Cariad Care Home where we have the capacity to support up to 48 residents, supporting to fulfil their retirements years in a simulating and homely environment.
An exciting opportunity to be part of our care team at Ty Cariad care home situated in Abergele has become available for a Care Assistant to join our existing team. We pride ourselves in providing 24-hour care and specialised services for older people, the beauty of our grounds, the quality of our catering and our engaging activities we deliver.
We have a personalised training platform to suit your learning skills. We provide both classroom based and E-Learning training to provide an excellent induction programme for all new staff members, meaning we will give you the tools and knowledge to have successful career with us at Fairways Care.

What you’ll be doing:
Promoting independence and personal dignity whilst providing the highest quality of care with respect to our residents.
Supporting our residents daily with their preferred package of care, they request as detailed in their individualized care plan.
Updating resident’s charts and daily notes to track their progress.
Answer the nurse call system, giving assistance as required.
Checking residents at regular intervals according to their care plan.
