Job description
Dove Court Care Home in Wisbech are currently seeking a Care Assistant to join our dedicated and hard working on a full or part time basis.
Dove Court care home, in Wisbech, offers a warm, caring and professional service for those needing dementia care, long-term residential care or more temporary respite needs.
While having extensive experience in the field of elderly care, Dove Court’s qualified carers are also skilled in dementia care, assisted by a comfortable and relaxing living environment.
The home has its own activities calendar that compliments its dementia strategy in relation to protecting the life skills of service users
The Successful candidate will have previous experience as a Senior Carer or have worked as a Care Assistant and looking for the next step in your career. We are looking for exceptional individuals with the right attitude, skills and knowledge who share our passion to deliver the best quality care experience.
To apply for this role you must have the following:
- Genuine interest in working with the relevant Service Users group
- Good communication and organisation skills
- Confident team player
- Satisfactory Policy check and check against the SOVA list
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Program
- NVQ level 2 in care – Desirable but no essentail
