We are seeking an enthusiastic Care Assistant to join our dynamic team on a part time basis working 7am until 7pm working 7 shifts over 2 weeks, working every other weekend.
Previous experience would be preferred but is not essential and if you do not have any qulaifications we would expect you to work towards achieving a QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care, which we will fully support you with.
The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. Our residents are individuals, and they all deserve to be treated as such. However, as a guide duties may include some support with personal care needs, supporting eating and drinking, as well as help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing such as arts and crafts, giant games, drama, musical evenings, gardening, shopping trips and café visits. Duties will also include ensuring the highest standard of infection, prevention and control and preparing light meals.
