We’re BCOP, a charity that’s been providing care and support to the older people of Birmingham for the last 75 years. We own three nursing homes and several housing schemes for older people in the city.
All three of our nursing homes have great local reputations - BCOP was given a carehome.co.uk 'Top 20 Recommended Small Care Home Group' award for the West Midlands in 2020.
We know that little things matter and really get to know each resident as an individual. No matter what their role, every member of staff works together to provide the best possible support for our residents
About you

Your Responsibilities
- Supporting our residents with personal care
- Supporting residents' safety, liaising with colleagues and other professionals to deliver the highest standards of care
- Ensuring care is person-centred, maintaining individual preferences and choices
- Making and providing refreshments as required, ensuring nutrition and hydration needs are met effectively
- Ensuring our residents are comfortable and to support with re-positioning if required
- Maintaining the dignity and respect of our residents at all times
- Monitoring changes and responding appropriately, to ensure health conditions are swiftly treated

About the role
(Nights)
- 36 hours per week, working 8pm - 8am over three days
(Days)
- 36 hours a week, working 6 or 12 hour shifts over three to five days
· Full training and support provided
· Opportunity to complete level 2 or 3 qualification in health and social care

COVID-19 considerations:
Regular PCR and LFD testing on site. All staff and visitors are asked to take their temperature daily upon arrival, PPE is also available on site for all staff.
