Job description
Abbeycliffe Residential Care Home is a residential care home for the elderly and is registered for up to 40 residents.
Abbeycliffe is located in the heart of Radcliffe, Bury, and the nearby public transport links enable our home to be easily accessible for work commutes.
We are a close-knit, friendly and family run care home which has been open for 10 years.
We are looking for a full time Care Assistant on 30 to 37.5 hours a week, on days. It is shift work and hours can be between 7.30am and 9.30pm.
Experience and NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care preferable, but not essential.
Job responsibilities:
· Assisting with personal care, including skin care, bathing, shaving, toileting, dressing.
· Enabling mobility, including moving & handling transfers, pushing wheelchair, etc
· Assist residents to fulfill activities of daily living
· Respect for client confidentiality and discretion at all times.
· Reporting & recording as per company procedure.
