Job description
Care assistants are expected to provide dignified personal care as defined in the care plan, this can include the following:
o Assist with bathing, showering, bed bath
o Shaving
o Toileting support
o Personal grooming, including hair and make up
o Support with feeding
o Support with manual handling
o Observes and reports any changes in the client’s mental, physical, or emotional condition to their immediate supervisor in a timely manner.
o Establishes and maintains effective communication.
o Participates in mandatory, refresher and other training programs as well as attend staff meetings.
o Completion of Client documentation all required paperwork in a timely manner according to policy. For example, communication sheet, food/fluids and repositioning charts.
o Uses equipment and PPE supplies safely and properly.
o Maintains confidentiality regarding client and company information.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Salary: £11.00-£16.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
