The role
Care assistants help people to leave hospital as soon as is practicably possible and to safely transition back to living at home as independently as possible.
You will visit Service Users in their own homes and provide appropriate care and support as defined in the Care Plan. This will include aspects of personal care, administering medication, monitoring of vital signs, exercise, and activity
The aim is to rehabilitate and support their potential, to support and enable Service Users in a range of activities to promote independent living and monitor their well-being.
Shifts patterns are between 7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm working alternate weekends. You will visit service users within Watford and surrounding areas.
Due to the nature of the role, you will need to have access to your own vehicle.
What we offer
- £25,854.40 per annum (£12.43per hour*) with a level 2 or above in health and social care (40 hour)
- Flexible contracts available from 20 to 40 hours a week
