Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and professional Car Delivery Driver to join our team. As the face of our company, your presentation, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will be paramount. The ideal candidate will possess a clean UK driving license with no claims or criminal convictions, ensuring the secure and timely delivery of vehicles to our valued customers. A uniform will be provided to maintain our professional image.
Responsibilities:
Vehicle Delivery:
Safely transport vehicles to designated locations, ensuring they arrive in pristine condition.
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each delivery to identify and report any damage or issues.
Presentation and Professionalism:
Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanour at all times, reflecting the high standards of our company. Interact courteously and respectfully with customers, providing an exceptional customer service experience.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all traffic laws, road regulations, and safety guidelines to ensure the safety of yourself, our vehicles, and others on the road. Complete all deliveries with a strong commitment to accident prevention.
Documentation and Reporting:
Accurately complete delivery documentation, including proof of delivery and any required paperwork.
Report any incidents, accidents, or delivery-related issues promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
Vehicle Care:
Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the delivery vehicle, both inside and outside. Ensure routine vehicle checks, including fuel levels, are conducted and reported.
Qualifications:
- Clean UK driving license with no claims or criminal convictions.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent driving skills and a strong understanding of road safety.
- Impeccable personal presentation and grooming.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle delivery responsibilities with professionalism.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to vehicle care.
- Flexibility in working hours, as some deliveries may require early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
