The Role
At LKN Markets, Captains/ Team Leaders are at the forefront of the business. You are the link between the customers, the Creator's (team members) and the rest of the organisation.
We are looking for passionate people who can act as ambassadors for the brands that we represent through a commitment to providing the highest possible level of quality in our product and service to our customers.
You will be the first point of contact for your team and will need to set a positive example to your team members through a dedication to high standards of food preparation, safety, cleanliness and customer service.
Your day to day duties will include but not be limited to-
Ensuring standard operating procedures are completed to a high standard
Plan and manage team rotas
Responding to customer needs on a timely basis
Food preparation in a timely manner, adhering to food standards and protocols
Monitoring key performance indicators
Ensure we are maintaining a clean, friendly and enjoyable environment to work in
Training, hiring and management of team members (our Creators)
Merchandising, restocking and inventory management
Opening and closing procedures
Management of stock deliveries
Management of the Customer incident and risk log
Develop a complete understanding of the menu items
Managing site spend on controllable expenses including labour, stock, packaging and consumables.
Accountable for food and quality standards through audits
Assisting Customers using POS if required
Job descriptions will grow and develop as both you and the business do, but we will give you all the support you need to succeed.
Note: You will need to pass a Food Safety Level 2 eCourse, which we will provide, before you are able to work at our sites.

Other characteristics we look for-
Previous food industry experience is required
Good spoken English
Great communication skills
Problem solving and decision making skills
Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or bank holidays
Passionate, strong communication skills and works well as part of a team
Willingness to lead by example and get involved in the day to day operations
Confident, with a customer first view to running a site
Commercial with the ability to meet targets, manage cost base and implement control mechanisms
