As a Barclays Capital Introductions Analyst, you will be part of the Barclays Capital Solutions team within the Prime Services Distribution. As part of the team, you will be tasked with assisting hedge fund clients of Prime Services in their capital raising needs by providing targeted introductions to investors, organising events to showcase managers to investors, and imparting colour on the Hedge Fund industry and investor landscape. The team’s investor network includes groups like pensions managers, consultants, and insurance companies.

What will you be doing?
- Supporting the team’s interaction with hedge funds and investors daily and their efforts to maintaining solid relationships with both
- Building new commercial relationships with hedge fund prospects and advise them of our capital introduction capabilities
- Assisting in the team’s compliance obligations around the onboarding requirements for hedge fund managers and investors
- Monitoring regularly of standards related to the capital introductions policies and procedures
- Understanding the various products and strategies of Hedge Funds
- Introducing the appropriate investors who often have very specific requirements
- Collecting investor intelligence and contributing to the development of Strategic Consulting industry content
- Planning and execution of regular cap intro events ranging from small roundtable to roadshows
- An organised, knowledgeable, and outgoing individual, great at building relationships, and content-focused
- Proactive and a self-starter, able to come up with new ideas and initiatives to better serve clients
- Reasonable knowledge of the hedge fund industry
- Bachelor’s degree and some experience in a financial services institution or firm
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to multiâ€task with great attention to detail and work in a time sensitive environment
- The ability to work effectively as part of a Team
